Cheeks
The masseter region is evident but not protruding.
Eyes
The eyes are medium sized, slightly prominent but not excessively so. They are almost oval in shape and set wide apart, positioned almost frontally. The eyelids are tight fitting. The color of the iris should be as dark as possible, in accordance with the color of the dog's coat. The expression of the gaze is essential, and should never show drooping eyes, like the Neapolitan Mastiff.
Coat
The coat of the Cane Corso is fine on the undercoat and short, dense and very glossy on the outer coat. This coat rarely causes allergies and can present a variety of colors.

Typical colors include black, black brindle, brindle, lead gray, slate gray, light gray, dark fawn, fawn deer fawn, and formentino (with stripes in shades of fawn or gray) in fawn and brindle dogs.
